About me
My name is Ruud, I live with my wife and 2 daughters in Amsterdam.
Throughout my life, I have been busy with computers, and website programming happened to become my job from 1997 onwards. Around 2008 I started specializing in WordPress.
Before all that, I studied Molecular Biology and even did a few years working at a lab-bench on some real science stuff!
I still love science a lot, so if you have a project related to research, do contact me!
I love helping people. This could be through just talking, sharing ideas, but also actually providing the solution.
Expect me to dig in, ask questions, and quite possibly come up with a spin to the original problem. I learned to use my coding, analysis and interpersonal skills to get to the ‘question behind the question’.
I believe this will get you the desired project output, through maximizing the effect on your day-to-day business and processes.
Often by making things simpler, it can also improve the overall understanding and help lower long term costs of ownership.
These approaches helped me to successfully build many different websites for clients and maintain long relationships with them.
